Ryan Dahlke
About Me
For me, Dahlke Media is all about telling the story of Kearney, Nebraska. It started as my personal hobby, filming the Bearcat games and local church events, but it’s grown into my passion. I love being on the sidelines and behind the scenes, finding that perfect shot that captures the emotion of the moment. My goal is to create content that our athletes and community can be proud of and look back on for years to come.
Education
I am currently in High School planning to graduate early as a Junior. I'm hoping to enlist into the National Guard in a few months and go into the Public Affairs unit. I would be creating content for the National Guard which I would immensely enjoy doing. I also plan to attend University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) where I am planning to get a bachelors in Communications with a minor in Media Production.
Hobbies
I mainly enjoy taking pictures but also playing games. I enjoy Battlefront II and Star Wars in general. I also enjoy hanging out outdoors and camping. I was in Boy Scouts, currently an Eagle Scout which has increased my love for the outdoors.
Media Jobs
I have done a number of media related jobs in the past few years; some I still work currently.
Loper Vision:
I have been working at UNK in their livestream department for over a year now. I mainly run replay as well as a camera sometimes. I really enjoy running replay at the football games and getting to show my talents in the replay field.
Storm Vision:
I've been working at Storm Hockey since I started working at UNK. I run replay as well as the light board there and have really enjoyed making intro videos and running the siren when we score!
Dahlke Media Instagram:
I started my Instagram account a few years ago and didn't realize how much I would enjoy media production, which has led me to pursue it as a career. I really enjoy going to my high school's sports events and taking pictures as well as my church's events.
Holy Cross Booth Manager:
I manage my church's Audio/Video Tech Booth. This includes an audio board, video switcher, and screen presentation. I am in charge of managing the effective production of Sunday Services as well as making church related videos and content.
